Ramfunder has been essential in the past to help us attend Nationals. Q & A FOR COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS :
Q: How many games do we play each weekend?
A: It can depend, but typically one to two each weekend during the regular season and up to four or five if it is a tournament.
Q: What do tryouts look like?
A: Tryouts are definitely competitive, so show up ready to work hard. There could be as many as 20-80 people there depending on the year. You are evaluated based on skills, touch, work ethic etc.
Q: Do we travel? Where? And how often?
A: Yes! We travel all across Colorado for away games. But we also play in the National's tournament that is held out of state. This year it is in Round Rock Texas, outside of Austin. We have also traveled to Santa Barbara for a tournament in the past and regionals depending on where they are held.
Q: When are tryouts?
A: Tryouts are always the first week of fall semester. This year it is August 23rd-25th from 6-8pm.
Q: Will there be two teams this year?
A: Unfortunately we will only have one team this year due to difficulty in finding a coach. However, we are planning to have practice players who can pay a smaller fee and come to practice 1-2 times a week.
